MYRON W. SERBY, 40, FORMER SYRACUSAN, DIES IN YONKERS

Myron W. Serby, 40, former structural engineer in Syracuse, died at his home in Yonkers Monday, according to word received here by relatives and friends. He was a native of Syracuse and was a graduate of Central High School, Syracuse University and Cornell University.

Mr. Serby was associated with G. W. Thompson, engineer, in Syracuse for two years. He moved to Washington, D.C. several years ago. The last few years of his life were passed in Yonkers.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Kaplan Serby; two sons, David and William Serby; three daughters, Miss Marion Serby, Miss Lois Serby, and Miss Gertrude Serby, all of Yonkers; and four sisters, Mrs. Sol Silver, Miss Frieda Serby of New York, Miss Anna Serby and Mrs. Harry Cohen of Washington, D. C.

Funeral services were conducted this morning at the family home in Yonkers. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, that city.
