Deceased Name: Dr. A.M. Serby
Dr. A.M. Serby, 94, died Tuesday in his South Side home. Dr. Serby was a member of the staff of Michael Reese Hospital for 70 years. He was born in Syracuse, N.Y., and moved to Chicago in 1922 after he graduated from Syracuse University Medical School. He taught at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and Michael Reese, now known as Humana Hospital-Michael Reese. He was still making house calls until he retired in March. He is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Robertson; two brothers; two grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Chicago Sinai Congregation, 5350 S. Lake Shore Drive.
